Senior Front End Developer

Job summary

We are looking for a Senior Front End Developer who has a trill for working on large-scale projects that offer very different challenges than a standard bootstrap website. Someone who loves working in a high-productive SCRUM team, and is proactively looking to learn new skills, evolve, and become better as this is a core characteristic of everyone on our team. A person who is passionate about video games and would love to work on exciting games with some of the top teams in the world.

Responsibilities

• Build the user interfaces of AAA games using modern JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and our internal tools;
• Evaluate the project specifics and design a JS architecture and a data model suitable for each case;
• Test and optimize the code so that the UI works smooth and loads fast on the targeted platforms ( PS4, XBox, PC, mobile);
• Make an impact - your work will improve the user experience for millions of players around the world;
• Be part of an awesome, a bit weird, but also fun team;
• Being a senior, you will become a mentor for the more junior team members. Help them grow and become better professionals.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in web development;
• Expert knowledge of HTML5/CSS and responsive design principles;
• Experience with JavaScript UI frameworks such as: React, Preact, Angular, Ember, Vue, Kendo UI, jQuery UI, Twitter Bootstrap, etc.;
• Experience with large scale JavaScript applications and understanding the JavaScript module pattern;
• Experience with animation libraries such as GSAP, Tween.js, Anime.js will be considered a plus;
• Experience in profiling and performance optimization;
• Ability to learn as we are moving very fast;
• Passion for games and game development;
• Good command of English written/spoken;
• Experience with Adobe Animate and/or other visual tools would be considered a plus;
• Experience with Unity or Unreal game engines will be considered a big plus.
