Position Overview
As a Business Development Manager at Coherent Labs, you will play a key role in expanding our market reach and driving revenue growth. You will be responsible for identifying new outbound business opportunities, forging strategic partnerships, and leading high-impact sales initiatives. This role requires an understanding of sales strategies, exceptional relationship-building skills, and a track record of success in driving outbound business growth.
Responsibilities
Together with the Head of Business Development, you would be required to develop and implement effective business development strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities in the gaming industry.
Lead efforts to acquire new clients by identifying prospects, conducting outreach, and presenting Coherent Labs’ platform to gaming studios and tech companies.
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including game developers, studios, and industry partners.
Drive the sales process from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring alignment with company goals and client needs.
Lead negotiations with clients, ensuring favorable terms and agreements that align with company objectives.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including customer support, product development, and customer success, to ensure seamless integration of sales initiatives.
Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to inform strategic decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market insights to the senior management.
What you need to succeed
Minimum of 3 years of sales and business development experience, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Extensive knowledge of sales processes, strategies, and best practices, with a focus on outbound sales and business development.
Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Strong presentation, storytelling and problem solving skills.
Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal etc.)
An ability to maintain discipline, deliver results and operate independently
A strong sense of confidence, humility and curiosity
Professional level of spoken and written English
A keen understanding of the gaming industry and experience selling tech products to gaming studios would be considered a major advantage.
