In the spotlight: Tony
This is Tony, our Technical Support team lead. Outside of work,
he's happiest out in nature or exploring a good RPG world. Tony
enjoys seeing a messy technical problem finally make sense and
knowing that his work helps developers ship something that just
works. A particular one that stuck with him was a strange DirectX
12 rendering bug where UI elements randomly disappeared and the
issue vanished the moment anyone tried to debug it. After a long
night of testing, Tony and the engineering team traced it to
an Nvidia driver optimization that was reordering rendering calls.
Working with Nvidia, he helped patch the problem and everything
was running smoothly again.
