Few weeks ago we conducted a survey to help us get a better understanding of the Unreal Engine 4 community. The survey body consisted of 232 game developers interested in Coherent UI for UE4. We would like to share some of the findings here:

– More than 37% of the participants come from the USA

– 60% of them have been working on their game for less than 6 months

– A total of 53% are programmers

– FPS and RPG remain the two most preferable game genres among the UE4 developers

– 55% are switching from other game engines

– The three most important attributes that the community is looking for in a middleware solution are: affordable price, great performance and “easy to use”
