What’s new?

Coherent UI 2.0 includes important new core features as well as numerous improvements to the Unreal Engine 4 plugin. We have added full Blueprint support, meaning that with Coherent UI 2.0 for Unreal Engine 4. Game developers will be able to script their entire UI through Blueprints without the need to write C++ code. We have improved the input system and added more samples.

We want to thank you – our amazing community for the support and ideas you have provided. We have planned a lot new things coming for the UE4 plugin in the following updates and we are resolute to bring the best UI development experience to our customers.

Getting started

Everyone who subscribed for a 50% discount on their first month will receive an e-mail in couple of days with the corresponding promo code and will be able to start using their Coherent UI license.
Please note that our subscription method system is still not available as we are in the process of authorization with our billing partner and it will require few more days to finalize. What about Mac OS X and Linux?

Coherent UI 2.0 supports both Mac OS X and Linux. The current UE4 workflow for Mac is not on par with the UX we want to provide to our users due to some limitations in the engine itself. We are working closely with Epic to provide the same out-of-the box experience to UE4 and Coherent UI developers. Both Mac OS X and Linux will be available in the next updates of the plugin which will be free for all subscribers and licensees.

What about mobile support?

Coherent UI 2.0 for Unreal Engine 4 will support mobile devices at the end of Q3 or beginning of Q4 this year. We need some additional development time to be able to provide seamless UX for mobile developers.
