CEP Versions Specifics

The CEP extensions cookbooks provide information about the CEP version used in Adobe Animate. They can be found in the CEP-Resources repo usually in CEP_x.x/Documentation/CEP*Cookbook.md.

In order for the Prysm extension to work correctly it is important to enable debugging unsigned extensions for new version of CEP.

So, if your Prysm extension stops working after an Adobe Animate update you should check whether a new version of CEP has been released. There should be a table with product and CEP compatability in the cookbook.

If there is a new CEP version you can follow the guide in the cookbook that enables you to Debug Unsigned Extensions. This usually involves creating a registry key named PlayerDebugMode with a string value of 1.
